  • About Piling Wrappings: ​After approximately eight to ten years, the pilings on the boathouse start to deteriorate from a foot above the water to 4 feet below the waterline. The fish nibble at the algae which accelerates the deterioration process. The wrapping of the piling provides a sacrificial barrier around the piling to slow the deterioration.
